Jonathon, or Jon as he's often called, is Benjamin's fraternal twin brother and another one of Mark's 'friends.' Jonathon is the one in the group who hates Mark the least. He shows sympathy to Mark and has the most faith in him out of the four in the group. However, he doesn't show it much in fear of being rejected by his brother, so he's usually rather shy and reserved. He's kind and compassionate, but often gets overshadowed by Ben's outspoken personality. Jon misses the old days when all of his friends got along better and things were simpler, when they could just hang out without any drama or tension. It's clear to him that the group dynamic has changed drastically, and he often wonders if they will ever be able to go back to how things were. Despite his generally positive attitude nowadays, Jon struggles with his own problems. He used to have low self-esteem and self-harmed as a way to cope with his feelings. While he's in a better place now, he still feels uneasy at times due to his dad's homophobic remarks and Benjamin's rude demeanor towards him, which make him feel uncomfortable and isolated. Luckily, Jon has his best friend and now boyfriend, Kenny, who supports him through everything. The two are extremely close, which contrasts to Mark and Ben's dynamic entirely. He completely trusts Kenny with his life, and the feelings are mutual. If Jonathon hadn't ever met Kenny, there's no telling where he'd be right now.
